Let’s take a look!

1. “Will the new Go & Grow payment limit change? For example, to €2,000?”

This is totally possible. We might even remove the payment limit in future. But we can’t say when any changes will be made. Because the world economy is in such an unpredictable state right now, we decided to protect our investor base and focus on keeping our platform as sustainable as possible. This decision was entirely driven by data. We’ll constantly revise our decision around this payment limit, and when it is in the best interest of our investors, we’ll make suitable changes to it.

2. “Is the payment limit per Go & Grow account or per investor?”

The Go & Grow payment limit is per investor per month. So if you have 3 different Go & Grow accounts, you can add as much as you’d like to each one of them, as long as the total amount added to all 3 accounts remains under the limit of €1,000.

For example, payments to all three of your Go & Grow accounts in one month can look like this:

10 September: Go & Grow Rainy day: €200
19 September: Go & Grow Retirement: €300
20 September: Go & Grow Holiday: €500

3. “Will the money over €1,000 in Wallet be invested automatically into Go & Grow the next month?”

Yes, if you have auto-transfers enabled, then any money in Wallet will be automatically invested into Go & Grow, up to the limit of €1,000 per month. You can learn more about auto-transfers here.

4. “Does this limit affect my Portfolio Pro too?”

No. The limit only applies to Go & Grow.

5. “When did this Go & Grow payment limit start?”

It started on the 9th of September 2020.

6. “How will this affect the referral program?”

The limit will temporarily affect the referral program. But you can still enjoy all the benefits. You’ll get a 5% referral bonus of the total amount your friends invest within their first 30 days of signing up. Plus, they’ll get a bonus for joining Bondora. Everybody wins! The referral bonus will be 5% of their investment, capped at €50 per calendar month due to the €1,000 monthly cap for Go & Grow payments. However, if they invest via Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Pro, or the Secondary Market, there’ll be no cap on the referral bonus.

That’s it for this month. We hope we’ve answered all your questions. If you’d like to know more about this topic, click here for more popular questions and answers. Or, if you have other Bondora-questions, you can find the answers on our online Help Centre.
