At Bondora, we are One Team, and we believe in working hard, and celebrating hard. Each highlight, no matter how small, should be celebrated. Especially when it will help make the world around us a better place, or when we work together as a team to make magic happen. Here are some of the highlights from Q3:
Festival fun at Bondora Summer Days
In August, we had our biggest Summer Days yet. Leaving the city behind, we went down to the west coast of Estonia for 24 hours filled with fun, games, unicorns, and festival vibes. We weren’t joking when we said we celebrate just as much as we work hard 😊 We had an absolute blast getting to know each other better, dancing the night away, and enjoying the most Estonian summer had to offer.
Bondora was awarded a Remote Work Badge
Since 2017, the Smartwork association (an NGO) has been awarding companies that promote remote work and offer flexibility a Remote Work Badge. This year, 43 new organizations received this badge, and we are proud to be one of them.
The workplace is changing, and employees and companies benefit from more flexible working conditions. We are proud to offer remote work to all our superheroes and know they will deliver their best work from anywhere, whether from the office, home, or on a beach somewhere in the Mediterranean.
Bondora library expands with financial literacy books
We are working hard towards increasing financial literacy among children, teenagers, and adults. Previously, we donated financial literacy books to Estonian libraries as part of a project led by the Estonian Ministry of Finance. But, we also wanted our employees and their families to be able to benefit and learn more too.
We added various new English and Estonian books about financial literacy to our Bondora library. They are for audiences of all ages, starting from small children who need to learn the basics to adult level for those who want to learn more about money management, debt, and investing. Two new services were launched for borrowers in Estonia
We’re happy to share that we’ve launched two new services to our Estonian-based borrowers: Loan Refinancing and the Bondora Boost app. By expanding our services to borrowers, we not only give them a better experience but also become a more popular lender, which strengthens our loan portfolio. We will be expanding these services to our other markets soon.
Bondora supports future tech superstars at Tartu University
For the second year in a row, Bondora is proud to support the Tartu University Science School’s IT projects. And this year, we are the main supporter of their IT projects. We want to help create a world where everyone can feel inspired and comfortable pursuing a tech career. This is why we especially encourage girls to program and support EGOI. We encourage everyone to learn to program and hope that some of these Tartu IT students will become future Bondora Superheroes.
