🀝 Role: Recruiter

πŸ§‘πŸΌβ€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘πŸΌ Team: People

Kerli joined Bondora in early 2014 as the Investor Relations Manager with the Marketing team. She later became the Lead for the Investor Relations team, continuing to support our customers. But her journey doesn’t stop there…

Tell us more!

In summer 2015, I forged a different path in my role as a new mom. Shortly after joining, I had my second child but stayed connected to the office by participating in annual events. I officially rejoined Bondora in Spring 2020 as the Partnership Manager, focusing on new collaborations and maintaining relationships with our existing partners. One project after another led me to my current role as a Recruiter with the People team. My experience with Bondora is an excellent example of how it’s possible to have a stimulating career inside one organization.

What is an essential skill that you have gained from your different roles at Bondora?

Analyzing information as I constantly work with new topics. I need to be able to determine what information is relevant and should be shared with others.

Here’s how Kerli spends an average day:

As a Recruiter, I spend most of my day getting to know candidates. We’re recruiting heavily at the moment, so we focus on improving the recruitment cycle and attracting more talent to join our team. Tools I use? Everything, except Tinder πŸ˜‚ Also, while we’re on the topic, take a look at our open positions here.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Being a part of a great team and finding future Superstars who say, “Yes, I would love to join Bondora!”

What’s your favorite Bondora value?

No bullshit. I believe you should keep communication straightforward, make timely decisions, and do your best to deliver what you have promised.

Now, on a personal note

What’s your favorite TV show?

There are too many to share, but the funniest show I’ve recently watched is the US version of The Office.

Should pineapple be allowed on pizza?

I don’t mind it. But to respect Italian cuisine, I would not add it to pizza.

What’s your favorite food?

Chocolate. I rarely get sick of it!

What is something you’re passionate about?

Continuous self-improvement is very important to me. I regularly read books on mindfulness and attend professional development courses.

What’s something you want to do but scares you?

I’ve had a fear of horseback riding since I was a child, and it would be good for me to overcome this.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

When I’m not spending time with my family, I like to relax and enjoy all the amusement that Netflix has to offer 😁 After taking a break for a few years, I’ve also started playing tennis again.

And that’s it! Thank you, Kerli, for sharing more about your experience at Bondora and interests, and for being our last Superstar for 2021 ⭐️

We hope you enjoy getting to know the people working to make Bondora the best online investment platform as much as we do. Join us again next year as we get to know our 17th Bondora Superstar.
