Source of funds request explained

Bondora News

To protect your investments, we must comply with Anti-Money Laundering laws that help build a transparent and safe financial system. This includes determining the source of funds that our customers use when investing. But what exactly is the ‘source of funds request?’ Keep watching to find out.

The source of funds request is a formal way of asking for documents to prove how you got the money to make investment payments to Bondora. For example, this could be your salary, a property sale, or inheritance. Not all investors need to complete the request, as it is based on the total amount deposited within the calendar year.

Our Compliance Team manages these requests, and they will work with you to complete them in a timely manner. Because the source of funds request is part of the verification process, your account will be unverified temporarily until the review is completed. Once your source of funds is confirmed, you will be able to resume investing.

And that’s it! Thank you for helping us keep your money safe. Remember to subscribe, so you won’t miss any videos!

Thanks for watching, keep investing, and bye for now.
