This year has turned out quite differently than many of us expected. But despite the challenges thrown at us, we made it a success and have countless positive moments to look back on. Here are our top 10 highlights from 2020:
Our ‘brand new’ office – We revamped our office and created a video so you can take a virtual tour of it! If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing out:
New self-service support site in 6 languages – When it comes to our customer service, excellence is the only option. This is why we created an all-new support site, giving you the power to find answers to your questions in a flash. Oh, and it’s available in 6 languages so that you can search your queries in the language of your choice.
Bondora won a gold Family Friendly Employer reward – We always knew we’re a great company, but now we’ve got the award to back it up too! Bondora received a gold award, the highest honor the Ministry of Social Affairs gives out! The award is only given out after a 2-year evaluation program, so it goes without saying that we’re very proud.
Invest & Drive competition – It was our biggest campaign for the year, and it was a massive success. We also loved seeing the happy look on the winner face. Congratulations again, Simon!
Over 52 000 happy investors joined Bondora – We’re thrilled that more and more people want to grow their money online with Bondora. And seeing that number continuing to climb makes us want to raise the bar even higher.
We launched Wallet – Wallet was a highly requested feature from investors, and this year, we launched it to make investing even easier. Read more about it here.
Live Q&A events with our CEO – Our CEO, Pärtel Tomberg, did three live Q&A events where investors could ask him anything and get to know Bondora better. He maintained Bondora’s transparency, provided clarity in times of confusion, and provided some comic relief with his slippers too!
3rd year of profitability – Our revenue increased by 96% to €20.3M in 2019, increasing our net profit by 2,184% to €2.3M. We’re super proud of these results and anticipate 2020 to be similar.
Breaking records and taking names – After increasing our recovery and collections of unpaid loans for ten months in a row, we broke our previous records, twice! We’re really proud of our team for achieving such a goal.
Our team events – It’s not all work and no play at Bondora 😉 We believe in celebrating big things and small things (with cake, always!). Throughout this year, we’ve realized with renewed perspective how important the little things can be. So, thank you to everyone at Bondora for making this year a memorable and successful one.
