Bondora launched new features, hit record-breaking milestones, and expanded at lightning speed. Here’s a quick recap of what we achieved in 2019:
Bondora takes over Europe
2019 started on high heat for Bondora, as we launched our platform in 24 European languages. Now the platform is easily accessible to investors all over the continent.
Breaking records
We all love to see numbers going up and for Bondora that translated in record-breaking months and new achievements. In 2019 we broke the mark of 90,000 investors, and we are quickly marching to the milestone of 350 million Euros invested! That’s a third of a billion. Wow.
October was a hit as investors put a total of €20 million in investments, the highest amount in a single month ever!
Investors love Go & Grow
After the launch of Go & Grow, it didn’t take long until the new product took over investors’ hearts. It’s now investors favorite way to invest, and in November, Go & Grow garnered 72% of all Bondora investments!
It was a great year for Go & Grow, as we also released a new platform section called Statements, where you can clearly see your Go & Grow transactions in detail with a simple and beautifully designed report. It’s easier than ever to track changes, gains, investments… you name it.
But we won’t stop here. Our investors have been massively using Wishlist to ask for a Go & Grow app. (Don’t know what Wishlist is? Check it out. It’s cool.)
So we heard your calling, and the mobile app is now in development. We are super excited to unveil this to you in the upcoming weeks. While you wait, don’t forget to sign up for exclusive pre-launch access to the app.
Our office, your home
We love having guests, and in 2019 we had a record number of people visiting us in our beautiful office in Tallinn. From investors to affiliates, many people came to drink a coffee with us, see how we work, and discuss their investments.
Blogger Marco Schwartz and our crew
Two of the most brilliant content creators in Germany spent over a week with us learning details of the Bondora engine, doing a series of interviews with our people and recording it all for their YouTube channels.
We also had bloggers and YouTubers from Portugal and Italy, recording their visits and showing to their audience how we work from the inside. Are you in Tallinn and want to come over for a coffee? Don’t hesitate to let us know!
Prizes, prizes, prizes
In 2019 we have launched several exciting campaigns with mouthwatering prizes for all investors. From doubling a winner’s investment with “Invest in September”, to distributing 13 cash prizes with “Invest in 2020”, the year had it all. Make sure to follow us on social media so you are always up to date with the next campaigns!
Bondora is a winner
We were awarded as a National Winner in the 2019 European Business Awards, which is one of the most prestigious titles a company can receive. We are, of course, very happy for the recognition and want to thank you for being a part of the journey!

Superheroes? Nope, Bondora heroes!
Some of our investors took a step further in 2019 and turned into Bondora heroes! These individuals have the superpower of growing their money, and we were happy to spend time with them and share their stories with the world. Claudia had never invested before, but then she met Bondora. Joao wanted to diversify his portfolio, and Bondora appeared as the perfect solution. Watch their stories and tune in for more heroes’ videos in 2020!

Look, I’m on TV!
Speaking of heroes, we are pretty much all online but in 2019 we went to TV with our “Invest like a Superhero” ads. They ran in Germany with an animation starring our super friendly Bondora girl. Didn’t watch the ad? See here. It’s short and you will love it.
Behind the scenes
If you follow Bondora on social media or access your account from time to time, you know that we publish a lot of content. From articles on the blog to videos on YouTube, we don’t always get it right. So on April 1st, we launched an April Fools Special with behind the scenes footage of our recordings, where our hosts are… well… failing to speak properly. Super fun stuff, take a look.
Improvements all around
A new look for Go & grow. Statements. A brand new investment forecast tool. Tweaks on Portfolio Pro. Instant payments in and out. Improvements to the API. 2-factor authentication. The platform has been improved in many ways and you can find more details here.
Wrapping up
