Highlights from the First Quarter

Bondora News

Even though working hard is our motto, we also love celebrating big moments, small wins, and all the good stuff in between. And so, we’ll shine the spotlight on the biggest highlights from this year so far. Let’s dive in!

A beautiful Women's Day surprise in the office.
A beautiful Women’s Day surprise in the office.

In March, we celebrated 14 years of Bondora! Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. We are thankful for the wonderful 14 years and incredibly excited about the years to come.

On Women’s Day, the gentlemen of Bondora showed their appreciation for our wonderful women with flowers, cake, and a thoughtful gift. It was a wonderful surprise, and everyone loved it.

We did our first LIVE Q&A session of 2022. These sessions are a great way to connect investors with Bondora directly. Investors sent their questions to Pärtel, who answered them on the live YouTube video. In case you missed it, you can watch the live recording here.

And speaking of Pärtel, our CEO and Founder was our blog superhero for March. We found out more about how his personal experience gave him the idea for Bondora, his most significant learning curves, and more! We highly recommend reading it.

If you’ve ever met someone who is a real-life Wonder Woman, then you’ve probably met Mirjam Palvadre. Her drive, passion, and dedication are truly inspiring. And so, it should come as no surprise that she won the coveted title of Employee of the Year 2021. Congratulations again, Mirjam. You indeed are our Chief of Everything Officer!

Bondora is proud to stand with the brave people of Ukraine. We have helped to provide relief for those who need it most, and we continue to strive to stand by them in their hour of need. If you want to contribute or find out how to help the people of Ukraine, feel free to contact us via our support site or visit Mondo.ee for more information.

And to wrap up with some numbers:

  • In January, 4,714 investors joined Bondora – higher than any month in recent years.
  • The collection and recovery team recovered €920,640 in January alone.
  • And we’ll likely set a new record for Q1 originations! But more on that after this month ends…
