Welcome to another post from our monthly peer-to-peer funding statistics series. Here, we talk about the most popular investment methods used by our customers in August and how this has changed since the previous month.
The total amount originated was €5,282,035 in August, -2.6% (€139,310) compared to last month.
In line with the trend of the previous month, Portfolio Manager decreased in popularity in August and Portfolio Pro increased its share. Standing at 28%, Portfolio Pro’s share is slightly behind Portfolio Manager which is 32% – significantly lower than the 64% share it held in March.
Go & Grow is still leading the way at 39% of the total share and over €2M, down 3% compared to July. At the beginning of June, Go & Grow was released to all new and existing investors.
The percentage of investments made through the API decreased to 0.35% of the total (rounded figures in the pie charts) – due to the technical skills required for this option, we don’t expect to see this fluctuate widely on a monthly basis, as seen with our other investment services .
Look out for our upcoming post where we discuss where the highest percentage of investments have been made, breaking it down by country, risk rating and durations.
