Bondora News

In October, we discussed the best investing options to diversify investments, why 2020 is a great year to start investing with Bondora, shared news how much money you can add to Go & Grow and more. Catch up with the details below.

Tips – Diversifying your investment

There’s one thing your investment portfolio shouldn’t, and arguably can’t, live without; and that’s diversification. The old saying of ‘Don’t put all your eggs into one basket’ is very true for investments.

The concept of diversification is simple. If you only invest in a one or two assets, and one of them fails, then your losses will be huge. But, if you split your investments into tiny pieces across hundreds or thousands of assets, then you’ll only have minor losses if a few of them fail. And those losses will be balanced out by the success of the other assets that are performing well, giving your investment a better chance at success.

If you invest in Go & Grow, your portfolio is automatically diversified by investing in over 100 000 different loan pieces. That’s next-level diversification!

How much money can I add to Go & Grow?

We’re thrilled that over 135,000 investors have signed up to Bondora, but we’re focusing on sustainability, not exponential growth. And because more and more investors want to benefit from Go & Grow, we have implemented a €1,000 Go & Grow payment limit, per investor, per month. This is to ensure that we can deliver on our promise of a net return of up to 6.75% p.a. as well as the opportunity for everyone to grow their money online. Which is why Bondora was started in the first place.

We can’t say how long this limit will be in effect, but we can assure you that all our decisions are made to make sure you can invest on the most secure platform with long-term growth and sustainability in mind.
